Effect of temperature on ice machine performance

Ice machine performance and ice production is effected by the ambient temperature and inlet water temperature.  

 1, standard working condition:

The rated ice capacity is under standard condition, inlet water temperature 15℃, ambient 25℃. ice machine working ambient temperature is 5℃~ 35℃ . when temperature is beyond this working temperature, the ice machine will be in a risk of damage.

2, ice production will be fluctuate per different ambient temperature and inlet water temperature, the ice production is less when temperature is higher. Ice production is more when temperature is lower. Ice production will be more than 5000kgs/day If ambient temperature is lower than standard temperature.

1, Lifespan effected by ambient temp., and routine maintenance

Ice machine ideal performance ambient temperature is 15C to 25C, and ice machine could be a good lifespan. when the ambient temperature is over 25C, the ice machine performance decrease, ice lifespan is less.

2, When the ambient temperature is over 35C, your ice machine is in danger, and It is necessary to use cold water machine to supply cold water, if inlet water over 25C, the ice production will be reduced.

Put Ice machine in a created temperature-controlled environment, such as a cooling room at temperature of its working condition( best is 10~20C),  so that to ensure the ice machine components performance well.
